We had a pretty quiet weekend planting flowers and working in the garden. We love this time of year. Amy loves being outside to help us play in the dirt too. Here are a some pictures from the weekend.
Amy eats a tomato. She loves them. She secretly got a hold of one and began eating it like an apple. She actually finished 90% of it. Ian likes to be outside with us also. I think he's starting to wish that he could play like his sister.
Sara eats tomatos like that too, or at least she did last summer. We'll see what happens this year. I agree, we need to get together. I still haven't seen Ian. What a slacker I am! My parents are in town, so maybe after that, sometime in July? Let me know what your schedule is like.
You can see the wonder & excitement on her face as she wrings the dirt off her hands! Fresh tomatoes have much more flavor than store bought - more so than any other homegrown vegetable I've tasted. Haven't Nanny/Duane grown a lot of veggies? They probably have some good advise. What else do you grow?
