Ian turned one a couple weeks ago! Can he really be one year old already??!! We celebrated with a few close friends and my parents on Sunday. I can already tell this December birthday thing will be difficult. When Amy turned one we had balloons and a big"ger" party. I made invitations, cupcakes, and we gave her several fun gifts. Poor Ian - he got a wal-mart cake (that didn't even say Happy Birthday) and we just let the grandparents give him gifts :). I told one person about the party and then didn't get around to telling anyone else until 1 hour before our so-called party. I'll have to make it a point to create something a little more special next year. We had fun though. He played with some neat toys from the grandparents - a little people garage from his grandparents Curtis and a zoo train from his grandparents Swain. Amy was as excited about the toys as he was.
