Happy Halloween

We continued a Halloween tradition and had a little Halloween party. This time, it was for the kids. We spent the morning decorating and planning. We had the party in the garage so Kenny made some dividers to keep the kids from going into the back part of the garage. We decorated them and got some hay and made a little dance floor. When the party started I thought I had enough for the kids to do to keep them entertained for a whole 2 hours - I will plan a LOT more next year. Everything I planned lasted a whole 40 minutes - maybe. The kids spent the rest of the time just hanging out together and playing games. We trick-or-treated after the party in our neighborhood. The kids loved dressing up but were exhausted by the time we got home. All in all it was a great day and we are excited for next year's Halloween party.

Our Halloween breakfast . . . Scary, right?

The scene . . . we made the Mr. Pumpkin heads you see in the corner as one of the activities at the party. Next year I'll drill holes in the pumpkins first, but it was still a fun little game to play.

Amy & her good friend Grant. I'm sure Amy's smiling like that because there is candy in her hand.

Amy using her supergirl heat vision to crack the pinata open.

These are about half the kids that came to our party. Notice Ian missing from all the pictures . . . he was in his own little world almost the whole time.

I thought that Eli clenched the annual Halloween party at our house from now on! Grant is still talking about the party and trick or treating, great job!
