The celebrating continued, and today Kenny spoiled me. He loves surprises and surprising and he's good at it. He made me breakfast, gave me a mother's day gift, fixed dinner (which isn't unusual for a Sunday evening), taught the young women at church, and took me to temple square so I could see the flowers and take pictures! He was a good sport, even though Amy wasn't (didn't she get the memo that today is Mother's Day and she's supposed to be perfect even when she's overtired?). We didn't get any great pictures, but it was fun anyway. I think we got ONE of Amy smiling (her eyes were so red from crying that she still doesn't look happy). At least the flowers were beautiful. I didn't expect any of it, but it was really nice to have things taken care of today.

Gorgeous flowers and smiles! That coral color really looks great on Amy and I love how Ian and Amy are looking at each other smiling in that first picture. Isn't it wonderful getting out just the 2 of you?! You feel like you're missing something the first bit, enjoy it for a period, then towards the end you're worried how they're doing - but it's so worth it! Happy Mother's Day to you and know you're a wonderful mother who inspires me to have more patience and be more creative in daily activities with the kids - enjoy being spoiled as you deserve it!!
What a wonderful day! Did you get your hair straightened? Do you wear it curly anymore? Are you going to JeNae's wedding? Please post pics when you are done, or email them to me. I would love to see a pic of her on her day.
You look like you are adjusting to being a mother of 2 very well. Love you.
oh, the babysitting thing. I've heard $2/hour/child. I also take into consideration whether or not the baby is asleep, if it is a weekend, etc. We asked the young women once and they refused to answer. They all just said whatever you want to pay. Not too much help.
